Al-Muhaymin

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ

“O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I am upon Your covenant and promise as much as I can.”

This is Sayyid al-Istighfar, acknowledging Al-Muhaymin's guardianship and oversight over His servants.

Al-Muhaymin watches over and guards all of creation. He preserves the heavens and the earth, and His guardianship extends to protecting the faith in the hearts of believers.

Al-Muhaymin is the Watcher who witnesses all things. Some scholars say it means the Trustworthy, the One who testifies to the truth, and the One who provides security.

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي

Allahumma ihfazni min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi wa 'an yameeni wa 'an shimali wa min fawqi

“O Allah, protect me from my front, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me.”
