Al-Mu'min
The Granter of Security
Prophetic Traditions
“By Allah he does not believe! By Allah he does not believe! By Allah he does not believe! It was said: Who, O Messenger of Allah? He said: The one whose neighbor is not safe from his evil.”
Al-Mumin grants security—a believer should also be a source of security for those around them.
Scholarly Insights
Al-Mumin has two meanings: the One who grants security to His servants from His punishment, and the One who affirms the truthfulness of His messengers by supporting them with miracles and evidence.
