إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ الْخَلْقَ إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي سَبَقَتْ غَضَبِي فَهُوَ مَكْتُوبٌ عِنْدَهُ فَوْقَ الْعَرْشِ
“Indeed, Allah wrote a book before creating creation: 'My mercy prevails over My wrath,' and it is written with Him above the Throne.”
Al-Mutaali is supremely exalted above His creation, above the Throne—yet His mercy reaches all.
Scholarly Insights
Al-Mutaali is supremely exalted above all creation in His essence, His attributes, and His power. Nothing can surpass Him, encompass Him, or equal Him. His transcendence does not make Him distant—He is near through His knowledge and care.
