Prophetic Traditions
يَقْبِضُ اللَّهُ الأَرْضَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَطْوِي السَّمَاءَ بِيَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ أَيْنَ مُلُوكُ الأَرْضِ
“Allah will fold up the earth on the Day of Resurrection and roll up the heavens in His Right Hand, then He will say: 'I am the King, where are the kings of the earth?'”
This hadith illustrates Allah's absolute dominion and irresistible power over all creation on the Day of Judgment.
Scholarly Insights
Al-Qaahir is He who subdues all of creation. Nothing can resist His will or escape His decree. Every created being is under His dominion and authority, willingly or unwillingly.
Supplications
اللَّهُمَّ لا مانِعَ لِما أَعطَيْتَ وَلا مُعطِيَ لِما مَنَعْتَ وَلا يَنفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ
Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayta wa la mu'tiya lima mana'ta wa la yanfa'u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd
“O Allah, none can withhold what You have given, and none can give what You have withheld, and no wealth or power can benefit anyone against You.”
