Al-Wahid
The One
Prophetic Traditions
“Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, and that Isa is the servant of Allah... Allah will admit him to Paradise.”
The testimony of Allah's oneness (Tawhid) is the key to Paradise, affirming Al-Wahid's uniqueness.
Scholarly Insights
Al-Wahid negates any plurality in Allah's essence, attributes, or actions. He is One in His lordship, One in His right to be worshipped, and One in His names and attributes—none shares in any of these.
