Ash-Shaheed

يُؤْتَى بِالْقَاضِي الْعَادِلِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَلْقَى مِنْ شِدَّةِ الْحِسَابِ مَا يَتَمَنَّى أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْضِ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ فِي تَمْرَةٍ قَطُّ

“The just judge will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will face such a severe reckoning that he will wish he had never judged between two people even regarding a date.”

Ash-Shaheed witnesses every judgment and transaction—even judges will face intense accountability before the ultimate Witness.

Ash-Shaheed is the One from whom nothing is hidden. He witnesses all things—the apparent and the hidden, the public and the private. His witnessing encompasses all of creation at all times.

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

Rabbana amanna bima anzalta wattaba'nar-Rasula faktubnaa ma'ash-shahideen

“Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and followed the Messenger, so register us among the witnesses.”
