Scholarly Explanation

Al-Qaahir is the one before whom all of creation is subdued. He is above His servants, and all things are subject to His authority. No creature can resist His will, no tyrant can escape His grasp, and no power in the heavens or the earth can challenge His dominion. He subdues the arrogant, humbles the oppressors, and executes His decree upon all of creation without resistance.

And He is al-Qaahir above His servants. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted.

[al-An'am (6): 18]

And He is al-Qaahir above His servants, and He sends guardians over you.

[al-An'am (6): 61]
